1. How can we balance delighting in God's judgment and earnestly desiring the salvation of sinners? Think through biblical examples of both god's judgment and God's mercy.
2. Compare and contrast the attitude of Jonah toward the Ninevites and the attitude of John and James toward this Samaritan village. What similarities and dissimilarities do you see?
3. How can we better keep ourselves in the love of Christ? What sings might be evident in our lives that we have too much anger toward others who are not God's people?
