Pastor Joshua completed his undergraduate degree from Wright State University, his Master of Divinity degree from Duke Divinity School, his biblical counseling certification through ACBC, and his Doctorate of Ministry in Expository Preaching at The Master's Seminary. After serving for a year as the Associate Minister, Joshua was called as the Preaching Pastor of Flint Reformed Baptist Church in 2014. His theological influences include John Calvin, Charles Spurgeon, and John MacArthur. Joshua is happily married to Marilyn and is the father of four children.
Nathan moved to Albany after pastoring the Thurman Baptist Church in the Adirondack Mountains of New York for 11 years. He completed his undergraduate degree from The Baptist College of Florida, his Master of Theological Studies from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, his MDiv from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, his ThM from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and his PhD in Historical Theology from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. His PhD research focused on Martyn Lloyd-Jones’ relationship with evangelical ecumenists. His theological influences are Lloyd-Jones, J. I. Packer, R. C. Sproul, and John Newton. He and his wife Amber have one son.
