Discipleship Training

We recognize the importance of teaching in doctrine (what we should believe) and training in obedience (how we should live). Our Discipleship Training courses seek to accomplish these two goals in the lives of our members.

For High School & Adults

Theological Study
January 19–March 23, our high school students and adults will be studying Historical Theology. These 10 weeks, we will be focusing on the medieval period, noting some of its theological accomplishments as well as some of its faults. Lord willing, as we examine our past, we will see God's hand a providence and be better equipped to follow him in the future.

For Middle School

The Baptist Catechism
"What is God?" "What is justification?" "How should a Christian live in the world?" These are all important and challenging question that students begin to face in their middle school years. Our discipleship training course helps them answer these questions from the Bible by walking through The Baptist Catechism in six 10-week sections. There will be a lesson on various questions every week along with take-home material for them to read and review with their parents.

For Kids

The Gospel Story for Kids
Discipleship Training for children aged 3 through Kindergarten and 1st through 5th grade meet in classrooms for lessons and games. The Gospel Story for Kids chronologically walks through Scripture showing the gospel in every story. From the God's creation of the world to the His throne in Heaven, we want to help our kid's see the good news of Jesus in all of it.
