1. Is Jesus teaching that obedience to His Word brings about our salvation or that obedience results from our salvation? How can we examine if our lives are built on the solid rock of Christ without falling into legalism (on the one side) or despair (on the other)?
2. How does building upon the firm foundation of Christ prepare us for earthly suffering? How does this prepare us for the final judgment?
3. What are the dangers of forsaking the truth of God’s Word for a church? How can we help our church stand firm in the truth of God’s Word?
