  1. Starting in verse 6, Samuel defends the faithfulness of God. Why is this important when speaking to others about their sin? What does the faithfulness of God have to do with people seeing their sin?

  2. How can a Christian who no longer needs to fear God’s condemnation still rightly fear the Lord? What would be a wrong way to understand fearing the Lord?

  3. Pastor Joshua stated that the Israelites asked for a King because they thought God was not big enough to handle their lives. Is there any part of your life that you think God is not big enough to handle? What parts of your life do you tend to take into your own hands?
