Charlie moved to Albany in 2010, while serving on active duty with the U.S. Navy. Retiring in 2013, he and his family remained and have finally grown community roots after serving in the military nearly 29 years. Charlie and his wife Jennifer meet in high school and have been married since 1985. Their two married sons and their families also live in Albany. His undergraduate degree in the Science of Nursing is from San Diego State University, his graduate degree from the University of Oklahoma is in Human Relations and he is currently enrolled in The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary working on his MA in Biblical Counseling. Having served in a variety of church roles since 1999, he was ordained in 2005 and has had the privilege to preach and teach in many parts of the world and serving as an Elder in other churches before joining FRBC. His theological influences include John MacArthur, Sinclair Ferguson, John Piper and R.C. Sproul.
