1. How does faith relate to this woman’s act of love and service? Does her service bring about the forgiveness of sins or is it the result of having been forgiven?

2. How can you separate from sinners while being, like Christ, a friend of sinners?

3. Considering Christ’s parable, how should we respond to salvation that is full and free? Is our debt before God small or large? Could we every pay back such a debt on our own?
